What We Offer

Private psychotherapy services and counselling are not covered through MSI. However, many extended medical plans provide coverage for therapy and counselling services (i.e., Blue Cross, Great West Life, SunLife, etc.). Please check with your insurance provider to determine if you have coverage for such services.

Direct billing offered for Blue Cross, GreenSheild, SunLife and SSQ.

  • My approach to family therapy blends principles from attachment theory with practical behaviour management strategies. I help families understand the emotional needs that drive behaviour, while also developing clear, supportive structures that encourage positive change. By strengthening connection and improving communication, we work together to create a family environment where both children and caregivers feel understood, supported, and better equipped to handle challenges.

Fees

Fees

The fee for therapy is $175.00 per 50 minute session, as recommended by the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers (NSCSW).

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. We consider your appointment important and are committed to providing you with the highest quality care.

Please notify your therapist if you are unable to attend.

A 15 minute consult is required prior to booking. This ensures that I am a good fit for your current needs.
